So wow, were really getting into July aren't we??? This year is really flying by, and I'm not sure that I've really done anything I've wanted to do this year. However I have started crocheting my Christmas gifts. I'm making 2 American Flag afghans for my father in law and my step dad, whom I call dad. Right now I'm working on the star field. I'm really moving quickly. I'm over halfway done with that. I'm making the stars for both blankets at once. Frank is happy b/c I'm only buying the yarn as I need it for this project, other wise, I would have a huge stack of yarn. Which is really better right now, b/c its helping me with my quest to stay organized. But the pattern is out of a book called our best afghans a to z. I can't remember who published it, it may be leisure arts.
I have so many pictures that I need to get posted, I'm going to have to sit down on one of my next days off and organize and just post nothing but pictures!!! I've been doing tons and tons of crocheting, my poor husband said I'm like a factory...poor guy. I have slowed down a bit, and have been trying to not do so much at once. I think once I get these blankets finished, and a baby blanket done for my sister in law who is going to be having a girl in October, I'll be done for a while. I'll still do some little things ya know...gotta keep those hands busy.
I do need to catch up with my sewing though, I have a bunch of stuff started that I really need to finish. I also want to get some shirts made for myself. I have a pattern for some really cute blouses, and I want to make them so bad. I have some pretty red fabric that I think would make a great button up, and some pretty flowered fabric that would make a great skirt of something. Just gotta get myself in gear and get this stuff going!!!
Well that's about it from this end. Now that Yahoo 360 is shutting down, I'm hoping to be more regular on here. There is just something stress lifting about blogging...not sure what it is, but its there.
Over and out
