Hey all, sorry its been so long since my last blog post. Last week I started a new job. I work for a nursing home called Consolate Health Care. Its a really great place. So far, I really think I'm going to enjoy working for this company. I work the graveyard shift. I really don't mind it too much, b/c its better than the 3-11 shift, which is a hard shift, b/c I don't get to spend much time with my hubby. So the 11-7 shift means that I have the whole entire evening with my hubby. Sure we don't get to snuggle at night any more, but I'd rather have awake time with him anyways.
As is everywhere, there is that one person that's like you've gotta watch your back, this place may seem nice, but its not as great as you think it is...blah blah blah... well, I've worked with this lady before at another establishment, and I will tell ya, she was the exact same way there too. (and I had been working there for a while before she got hired on there....) but anyways, its just one of those things you let go in one ear and out the other.
I went to wal mart when I got off from work this morning. I found they finally stocked up on my favorite kind of scrub pants, so I bought a few pairs of those. And I bought a couple of scrub tops that will go with some of the pants I bought, and some of the pants I already have. I like for everything to be inter changeable. I love being able to mix and match, makes it seem like I've got more than I already have...even though I will admit that I have a bunch of scrubs anyways!!! (I even put in a bid on a couple of scrub tops on ebay today!!!). I probably really don't need to get anymore for the time being, especially since I do laundry every day... but I love the fact that they are so cute, and professional looking, and comfy all at the same time...and I even love the fact that they don't go out of style!!! (well...if ya gotta buy something to wear to work that's required...)
We've been having some major thunder storms here the past day or so. I don't really mind them too much. They are kind of nice. Its just the lightening that makes me nervous....I'm a sissy I guess.
Well that's about it for this one. Until next time
over and out
